W&M Given Feature in Autumn 2016 Ulster Tatler Interiors

W & M Given is a Coleraine based architectural practice, offering a broad range of design consultancy services including architecture, interiors, landscape, strategic planning and speculative work throughout the UK and Ireland. Established in 1888, we have extensive experience of most building sectors including education, community, residential, leisure, boutique retail, hospitality and commercial.

Design quality is at the heart of all that we do and this is evident from our extensive portfolio of work. Innovative design solutions and expert coordination of service delivery ensures projects are of the highest sustainable quality for all our clients.

The practice has extensive experience in the design and procurement of projects across varying scales, complex sites and programs for which we project manage all stages of each project. This is underscored by solid working relationships with consultants and contractors. Our process provides a first class, personalised, architectural service to clients, resulting in high quality crafted outcomes that are meticulously detailed and finished.

We believe that architecture is for everyone no matter the scale and complexity of the brief or financial constraints. As professionals we strive to go beyond each of our individual client’s expectations to create stunning, functional and sustainable design solutions.

It’s encouraging to see more and more clients in Northern Ireland becoming increasingly conscious of what makes good design and the benefits of engaging a chartered architect to steer their aspirations.

Our small practice team structure gives us the ability to offer a personalised and collaborative service with a focus on design excellence, underpinned by sustainable design principles. We approach each new project with an individual response to make the most of the project brief, the sites attributes and orientation and to maximise the sense of space and connection to the landscape.

The practice prides itself in keeping abreast of new technologies and we have recently invested in the latest software systems and training, utilising Building Information Modelling (BIM). This process improves design team workflows, programming, cost control and coordination of services. At each stage of the design process we can clearly present our designs through 3-D modelling and photorealistic rendering.

If you would like to know more about us or have a specific project in mind, large or small, we would be delighted to talk to you.
